More Advice For Newbie Website/Blog Owners
I have been a bit busy creating a forum for one of my main ‘make money online’ websites. I decided that by adding a forum to the site it would encourage some form of interaction amongst the users of my website, and should provide them a place where they can discuss the various ways of making money online that are listed on my site.
I had to get rid of a phpBB forum that was attracting so much spam. I decided I would go for vBulletin, after asking for some advice at the excellent Digital Point forums. If you are a newbie, or even an experienced website or blog owner, then you simply must join the Digital Point forums. Obviously more so if you are a newbie, as you will learn so much, and there are so many people there to help you out with any questions/problems with your sites.
As much as you get the odd person trying to scam people out of money and such, you will be able to find a lot of people who are willing to go out of their way to help you. I simply mentioned that I was looking to sort out my spam problem on the forums, and before I know it someone has already recommended me to vBulletin and has also offered to help me install it. I love it when people offer to help do something just because they understand how it all works, and are willing to try and help another newbie out.
This is why I highly recommend that you join some form of webmaster forums! In my experience I prefer the digital point forums, but I’m sure there are some other great ones too. There are so many people willing to help you out, and you will also learn so much from reading other peoples posts and problems. You can also make use of their signature links, adding some backlinks to your own websites from a highly ranked and popular website forum ![]()
