Latest Google Page Rank Update
Over the past few days, various webmasters around the world have been discussing the changing Google Page Rank of their own sites.
I hadn’t actually noticed this until the other day - when my previously PR0 (or grey bar) jumped to PR3, only a few weeks after puchasing the domain. I had only just uploaded a forum to the site, but I had received a PR3 because I gave the forum a sitewide link on my main ‘make money online’ website (which at the time was PR3, with a lot of inner PR3 pages too. More Advice For Newbie Website/Blog Owners
I have been a bit busy creating a forum for one of my main ‘make money online’ websites. I decided that by adding a forum to the site it would encourage some form of interaction amongst the users of my website, and should provide them a place where they can discuss the various ways of making money online that are listed on my site.
I had to get rid of a phpBB forum that was attracting so much spam. I decided I would go for vBulletin, after asking for some advice at the excellent Digital Point forums. No polite e-mail stating that they will be removing your link, no reasoning behind removing your link, and most annoyingly, the fact that you have been displaying their website link in the belief that they are also doing the same. Reminder For All Footer Dates On Websites And Blogs
Just a short post to remind people that as it is now the year 2008 it would be a good idea to update all copyright notices in blog/website footers.
A tedious job I know, but at least it makes your site look more up-to-date and professional, as well as providing your site with a fresh update for the search engines ![]()
Thought Process Involved In Purchasing A Domain Name
As my first post on the Trendy Money website was just welcoming people to the blog, and explaining the purpose of the website (informing people how to make money online), I decided that today I would tell you about the process of choosing and purchasing my domain name. Read more
